Meet the latest artist who is collaborating with Onesixone

We focus on more than just fashion, we want every piece to tell a story, and above all, to be a piece of timeless art.

Unlike other luxury handbag brands in the market, we don’t hire designers to create the masterpieces that will be displayed on our handbags, we hire true artists whose work has been displayed in art galleries worldwide.

We carefully consider every artist that joins our team and seek only the very best.

After an exhausting search, we came across one of the most brilliant artistic minds in the present day, Hozmard Narielwalla.

This brilliant artist was born in Mumbai in 1979, and he’s currently based in London.

Get to know him better.

He’s well educated

His first inspiration came when studying a Masters in Fashion Communication at the University of Westminster in 2006.

His exquisite talent drew the attention of Sir Paul Smith who offered his first solo show in 2009. Subsequently, Narielwalla was awarded a full scholarship to embark on a Ph.D. at the University of Arts in London.

This talented artist is a rising star in the competitive art world. His uncanny talent has attracted critical acclaim and an authority profile in academic and commercial artwork.

He’s a published author

It was during his time at the University of Westminster when he met a Savile Row Tailor, who described the shredding of bespoke paper tailoring patterns of customers who have died. The notion of something so personal and detailed being so impermanent led Narielwalla to retrieve a set of patterns which were used as inspiration for his first book “Dead Man’s Patterns”, published in 2008.

The first edition was purchased by world-renown libraries, such as the National Art Library, the British Library and the libraries of the Courtauld Collection. Other UK institutions acquired the remaining 25 copies to be placed for their Special Collections.

This brilliant artist was born in Mumbai in 1979, and he’s currently based in London.
